WOOF! Calling all canines for our 2nd annual WalkingtheogWALK!

Our 2008 walk in July was a major success, with over 125 registered dogs and around 400 humans participating in the Parade and the Bestminster Dog Show.

Dogs of all shapes, sizes, colors and canine ethnicity joined together to march down Warren Street to the Bestminster Dog Show at Walking the Dog Theater's home at Basilica Industria.

The Parade and Dog Show were an instant "hit" with marchers and spectators alike. It was truly a community event, thanks to the help of organizations such as the Mental Health Association of Columbia Greene Counties, which provided the venue for Registration, Operation Unite and the Hawthorne Valley School, who provided our panels of superb judges, the Animal Cruelty Investigators of the Columbia Greene Humane Society/SPCA, who provided canine crowd control and the Police and Fire Departments of the City of Hudson, who were there to help the parade move smoothly, and last but not least, the dogs and people of the Good Dog Foundation, including 2008 Spokesdawg Blaise.

NOW, it is time for our 2nd annual walkingthe dogWALK! We have asked the weather gods for a perfect day on May 16th, and all that's missing is YOU and your human(s)! Register now, register early to save - it's still a steal and the most fun in town for the least $$. You can register online on our webpage www.wtdtheater.org!

See you May 16th!!
